At the Elmhurst Animal Care Center, Dr. Prince offers modern surgery and diagnostics facilities that are designed with the comfort and safety of your pet in mind. They have heated surgical tables; new equipment for administering anesthesia; and the latest CO2 surgical laser, which causes less bleeding and less pain than traditional surgery, while diminishing the risk of infection by sterilizing the site where the incision was made. Overall, the CO2 laser lessens the amount of time that your pet needs for recovery. It reduces the amount of time required for surgical procedures by increasing the veterinary surgeon’s ability to make precise and controlled incisions, reducing risk during the procedure. Furthermore, Dr. Prince enjoys staying informed about the latest procedures and practices in veterinary medicine, attending 100 hours of continuing education classes every year to keep his skills and knowledge current.
